Spring fishing on Cedar Creek can be feast or famine mostly depending on the winds which lately we’ve had plenty, on windy days we’ve had to stay off the main lake and fish sheltered points and humps in water 15 to 19 feet on silver slabs jigged vertically, we are catching a few Hybrids but many under the 18 inch length limit.
Crappie fishing has been very good fishing deep shaded docks on give jigs in red/white and black/chartreuse most fish in 11-12 inch range.
Catfishing has been good on dead shad dishes around rocky points which will get better as water temps warm to 70 degrees currently in low 60s.
