White bass are good to excellent with limits the norm, early morning schooling around retaining walls on swim baits such as a chrome rattletrap or soft plastics, as day progresses humps from 16-32 feet of water on slabs snd jigging spoons in chrome, chartreuse or white in 1/2 to 1 oz jigged up and down, use your sonar to locate the humps snd points then if fish are not on top of structure, check the sides as water drops off, in water over 24 feet fish will usually suspend up about 6-8 feet off bottom. Also trolling is starting to produce, early morning trolling rattle trap type lures over shallow points then during the day, using the hell/pet rigs over deeper water.
A few Hybrids mixed in with the Sandies so check carefully, they must be 18 inches to retain.
Also some productive night fishing still occurring around lit boathouses, fish being caught on small swim baits in and around spot light docks which are much more productive than flood light docks.
Crappie being caught over brush piles in water 8-15 feet use small jigs, black/ chartreuse and red/white good colors, small minnows also working well over these brushpiles, dock fishing still producing but with lake 6 inches high as of now, it is difficult to get jigs under the docks, and a few Crappie can be caught next to metal retaining walls using a bobber and jig combo.
Catfish spawning still going on in full force, limits of eating sized Blue Catfish the norm with most being caught near metal retaining walls, using dead Shad under a bobber.
Channel cats being caught on liver and worms around marina docks and drifting in shallow coves.
