With the hot temps we have all month, summer time fishing is here and early which means it’s time to troll. With water temps in mid 80s a thermocline has set up around 20 feet which means fish will be above it and the Sandies will stage anywhere from 11 to 15 feet, if you can’t find them at 15 feet go shallower, we’ve. Caught them all week 12 to 13 feet using hell/rigs also jet diver rigs working well, biggest tip is don’t let out a lot of line, if you’re fishing 11 to 13 feet 30 to 35 feet is line is plenty of line to let out, for hybrids they’ll stage in deeper water but again above 20 feet many times they’ll suspend around edges of humps over deeper water.
